“Despite torrential rain, our hen of 25 people had an absolutely fantastic experience. Trish was so helpful when organising and Paul and Ryan were great hosts to the group on the day and added to the fun. Would highly recommend Lilliput for a group activity.”

“Spent an excellent day in Lilliput recently and I have to compliment Franky and his hard-working staff or instructors on providing a fantastic day out. We had a large group with us and everyone enjoyed a day on the lake water in canoes, hopping in bog holes, climbing the rock face and playing trampoline football. We had orienteering in the forest and various team-building games. Although we did not overnight here there is plenty of facilities to do so. A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all and I would have no hesitation in recommending the place. It was not my first visit and I hope it won’t be my last!”

“We went to the Lilliput Adventure Centre for my sister’s hen on a rainy day in July this year. From start to finish Franky and the gang are great to deal with and very fun! I organised the hen from overseas and Franky was quick with replies and put my mind at ease that all would run well on the day. The centre itself, the activities and guides are all geared to great fun and really kept all the girls entertained all day. If you are looking for a centre for any kind of group activity I couldn’t recommend this place more!”

“Having booked bay sports in Athlone for a hen party and been let down just 24 hours prior to our arrival by Bay sports with no alternative ideas or plan by bay sports I contacted Franky in Lilliput who could not have been more accommodating, sympathetic and helpful. Franky arranged an amazing guide for our group with 24 hours’ notice, he prepared a package to suit our budget and made the hen herself feel very special on the day. Our leader Paul was outstanding, and he put everyone at ease. He made us laugh out loud as we took part in every challenge. I cannot recommend Lilliput anymore but can guarantee I will return. A great hen, stag, group, family activity. Our entire party of 15 had an absolutely fantastic day! Thanks everyone!”

“We took 25 teens away on a team building trip for 3 days in Lilliput. The enjoyment, the freedom, the friendliness, the food, the facility, the people it was a great trip and we really appreciate the important role all at Lilliput played in helping make it a great success. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough for a team building venue.”

“Attended Lilliput last weekend for a stag party and it was perfect for a group like ourselves. We were made to feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. Our group leader (a guy with the initials SQ and another guy) made us feel very welcome and were up for a bit of fun and contributed massively to the enjoyment of the day. We started our day with orienteering, then rock climbing (which I was expecting to be up a rock face rather than a wall at the front of the house, but it was fun), then we did bog hopping (which was fun, sort of, being up to our necks in mucky water is not everybody’s idea of fun!) and canoeing before our lunch. My only criticism of the organisation of these events was they should have had the canoeing before the bog run as people were cold when we did the canoeing and didn’t do it for long. If it means doing the canoeing first, so be it. The bog hopping should be the last event before showers and lunch. Lunch was plentiful, soup and bread and sausages and tea/coffee and there was any amount of it! There was a roaring fire when we got in from the frigid waters of the bog holes which was music to our ears. In the afternoon we did archery which was great also. They could maybe do with trying to speed it up a bit or having a 3rd board rather than 20 people standing around but the guys to be fair to them kept the fun going and joined in the craic we were having. Overall, this was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it for a group outing.”

“The Lilliput centre is excellent from ‘bog’ hopping to kayaking, wall climbing and fun sports this is the place to be!!! The adults and children alike are taken from one adventure to another, the staff are all trained and take personal care of each individual. A Great Time is had by all we will return again.”

“We spent a day in Lilliput recently as part of the CLIPAS family day. I have to say we had a brill day. The facilities were very good. Parking, picnic areas, hot showers, and bathrooms. Although there appeared to be some work in updating the centre going on and they also appeared to be setting up for a big festival that was being help there the next day it didn’t bother us in the least. I have to really complement the 4 young lads that were the instructors for our group for the activities. They were the nicest young lads I have come across in a long time. They were friendly, very helpful, they gave everyone a turn and didn’t rush any of the kids or adults. Keep up the good work lads … you really stood out. I will def be recommending this centre to my friends and family and will hopefully get the chance to return again soon.”
